The Wine Gent staff will come to your home, or site of your event and customize a party that is right for you. We feature our “winemaker for a day” party during which we show a five-minute video which takes you on a walk through the vineyards and includes interviews with a winery owner and winemaker discussing blending.

Guests then come up to your table and taste individual wine varietals like cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, and petite verdot. We teach people the characteristics of each grape and talk to them about what each individual grape brings to the blend.

Once they taste the individual varietals, we let our guests blend their own test blends of the wine they will create. They tell us what percentage of each they want in their blend and we let them try it. If they like it, we will measure the right percentages of each grape in the bottle, cork it, cap it, and put a customized label on it that is developed by the party host.

Our guests get education on individual grape varietals, successful winemaking techniques, and get to blend their own wine and bring it home with them. They get to interact with each other during the presentation, ask questions, and learn in a comfortable environment.
